I'm a sound designer for video games.
Since I started playing drums and got an Akai digital recorder as a teenager, I've been making, using, and playing with sound. I played in bands through high school and college. I studied perception and computer science in college and took some video game related classes. I got an internship doing QA at Hi-Rez Studios and got my first delicious taste of the video game industry. After going back to school for audio engineering, I landed a sound gig at Red 5 Studios where I learned that sound design for the video game industry is a wonderful blend of technical and creative know-how. I've also been scripting encounters at Red 5 using Lua.
